John Wilkerson is Selected to Global Post Disaster Reconstruction Project Team


The Project Management Institute (PMI) Global Post Disaster Reconstruction Project Team has chosen John Wilkerson, Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, to provide Lean Healthcare and Lean Supply Chain expertise.

The global project team consistent of a hoist of functional area experts as well as project managers and program managers/directors, all of whom have supported past natural or man-made disasters.

The Post Disaster Reconstruction Project Team’s mission is to provide clarity and a post disaster recovery methodology for relief agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and/or governments organizations (GO) following a major disaster. This methodology is based on the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)–Third Edition, and is meant to enhance collaboration and consistency, as well as quality and accountability, of projects undertaken in a crisis/disaster rebuild environment.

Wilkerson’s earned this selection based on his Gulf Coast, Hurricane Katrina post disaster supply chain and healthcare transformation work.
